ABOUT |
HISTORYTess Finkle started Metro Public Relations, formerly known as Tess Finkle PR, after gaining entertainment experience at esteemed companies Anonymous Content, Baker Winokur Ryder and Bragman Nyman Cafarelli. The company started with just one client and one employee in New York City and soon moved operations to Los Angeles. In November 2007 the company expanded to include a Latin Division, spearheaded by Patricia Mora. Soon after, Finkle convinced two more PR go-getters from large corporations to join the company. At this time the name Tess Finkle PR no longer seemed appropriate, the company had grown and expanded, and so needed the name. But what would be the best name for this melting pot of young self-starters? Considering the diversity of the team, it quickly became clear that international meaning was important. Approximately seven thousand unique languages live around the globe, yet the word "Metro" means the same to the majority of people. It was originally developed to be a universal measuring concept between the most diverse of countries. "Metro" later morphed into an innovative means of movement, launching in one country and spreading around the world. Metro Public Relations is a hybrid of the word's origins. Our company is now a multinational entity that raises the bar by consistently operating on an effective level in each country it serves and offering a new approach to moving forward projects. |
